A Life of Calling
Apostle Jonathan Scott is the Founder and Visionary of Refiner's Fire International Ministry (RFIM), a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to equipping believers, developing leaders, strengthening churches, and restoring lives through the transforming power of Jesus Christ. Since answering God's call to ministry in 1997, Apostle Scott has faithfully served with a passion to see lives changed by the truth of God's Word. He is also an author, writing to extend his ministry’s reach and to provide practical, Spirit-led guidance for personal and spiritual growth.
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Apostle Scott began his ministry journey while serving as a pastor in Bakersfield, California. Through seasons of testing, growth, and refinement, God prepared him to minister with wisdom, compassion, and unwavering faith. Standing firmly on Romans 8:18, he believes every trial is preparation for the greater purpose God has ordained.
Leadership & Global Ministry
For more than two decades, Apostle Scott has ministered throughout the United States and internationally, preaching the Gospel with clarity, conviction, and compassion. His ministry is marked by biblical teaching, leadership development, discipleship, healing, restoration, and empowering believers to discover and fulfill their God-given purpose.
Whether speaking at churches, leadership conferences, community events, or international gatherings, his mission remains the same—to equip believers and strengthen the Body of Christ.
Christian Life Coaching
As a Certified Christian Life Coach, Apostle Scott provides faith-based coaching that helps individuals gain clarity, overcome obstacles, strengthen their relationship with Christ, and confidently pursue God's purpose for their lives.
Through biblical principles, practical guidance, and accountability, he equips leaders, families, and individuals to experience lasting personal and spiritual growth.
Expanding the Vision
Driven by a passion to restore lives beyond the church walls, Apostle Scott founded Eagle's Mentality Recovery. This Christ-centered recovery ministry helps individuals overcome addiction, trauma, brokenness, and life's challenges through biblical teaching, identity restoration, accountability, and spiritual growth.
Committed to developing future leaders, he also partners with a respected Bible college, helping believers receive quality biblical education and practical ministry training that prepares them for effective Christian service.
A Heart for Prayer
Known as a devoted intercessor and worshiper, Apostle Scott believes that prayer is the foundation of every successful ministry. His life reflects a deep commitment to seeking God's presence, walking in humility, and serving others with excellence.
Over the years, God has opened doors for him to minister alongside respected pastors and ministry leaders, both nationally and internationally, expanding the reach of the Gospel.
Ministry Partnership
Apostle Jonathan Scott is joined in ministry by his wife, Jessica Scott, a native of Miami, Florida.
As his ministry partner and Administrative Director of Refiner's Fire International Ministry, Jessica oversees the day-to-day operations of the ministry, including administration, communications, event coordination, website management, media, and strategic planning.
Together, they are committed to fulfilling the vision God has entrusted to them by equipping leaders, restoring lives, strengthening churches, and advancing the Kingdom of God.
